This Viking adult tandem bike is an ideal cycle for couples or friends who prefer to share the experience of a cycle ride. With a low rider pannier rack fitted on the front and a sprung pannier rack on the rear, the Tarantino is perfect for longer journeys wherever the road or your sense of adventure may take you. Constructed from oversize aluminium tubing, sturdy enough to minimise flex and light enough to excel in the hills. The Tarantino features sturdy 48 spoke wheels, double wall 700c rims and quick release tandem cassette hubs. The aluminium frame features an eccentric bottom bracket for easy chain tension adjustment. Equipped with 24 speed shimano gears for easy shifting & powerful Vee brakes it offers a great introduction to tandem riding. Specification has a number of highlights which include: Sealed cartridge bottom brackets,170mm alloy tandem cranks, alloy DX style pedals, fast rolling 700x 38c Tioga City Slicker tyres & extra long 350mm seat posts offering a wide range of height adjustment. Sizing- The frame measurement on this bike is 19" in the front & 17" in the rear. However small this may sound this combined with a higher bottom bracket equates to more like a 21" & 19". Suggested inside leg measurements are 29" to 34" on the front & 26" to 32" on the rear. Stand over height is 29"on the front & 22" on the rear.
